Cedar essential oil

Cedar essential oil is extracted by steam distillation of the leaves and birch of the plant. The cedar belongs to the family of coniferous trees and you can find them in Greece such as Crete, the Peloponnese and Cyprus. However, the most common kind of cedar is from Lebanon. In particular, a cedar is on flag and the national emblem of Lebanon. The aroma of the cedar essential oil is extremely pleasant.
